Over 300 days of Sunshine Per Year

The climate of Rio Arriba is best described as arid with abundant sunshine, low humidity, scant precipitation and a wide, yet tolerable range of temperatures. More than three-fourths of the daylight hours have sunshine, even in the winter months. The climate is pleasant with over 300 days of sunshine a year! Summers are pleasant (no humidity) and winters are moderate some snow but plenty of sunshine. Rio Arriba County is the promised ‘Land of Enchantment’ fulfilled!

Fly to Santa Fe

Santa Fe is proud to announce commercial airline service beginning again on June 11, 2009.

American Eagle Airlines will fly a daily flight from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) to Santa Fe (SAF) and return starting on June 11, 2009.  Tickets for this service will go on sale starting Sunday, March 15, 2009.

Great Lakes Aviation made a business decision to no longer provide service between Santa Fe and Denver.  The City is currently in discussions with other airlines about providing Denver service.

New Mexico Airlines has suspended Santa Fe service for an indefinite period.
